The diary was mentioned on the Donny and Marie
show (available from our appearances section) as being aimed at
"teens". That may have been a little bit too high for an
age range. As for Mary-Kate and Ashley content, the picture on the
front cover is as fare as it goes, except for the quotes inside,
which are so spread out you'd need to write for a month before you
find one! That's the bad points over with...but when you look at the age range the book is for ("7 and up")...it certainly can't be criticised for what it is. After all, it was just advertised as a "diary", nothing more, nothing less. So, if all you want is a diary then by all means go for it - there is more in here MKA related than a normal diary. The highly hyped mood-o-meter provides about 2 minutes worth of entertainment a day, and it tells it's own story by reading black and red at school and blue when I'm working on this page!! So, if you're looking for a diary go for it, but don't just buy it because it says Mary-Kate and Ashley on it, because it really has very little to do with them. You'd be better off spending the $13 on a party video! Rating: 6/10 |
